Glenn, during an interview, said that the audience has to watch out for the second season of the show, which would start with the survivors reaching a farmhouse, unfortunately owned by Hershel.

The entire feel of the zombie apocalypse is taken away from The Walking Dead at least in the first episode that will have Hershel dealing with all the trouble brought in by Rick and his band.

Rick and his band would be acting in a manner that could only bring in discomfort for Hershel; at one point, it would seem as if the characters of Rick and his band had something against Hershel.

The actions of Rick, though logical, are not tailored in compliance with the atmosphere of the zombie apocalypse that he and his band are in.

It is understood that Heshel being their friend would tolerate and deal with everything with a pinch of salt, but what if they placed the lives of the survivors in danger once again?

As news available online must have kept you informed, the show recently had to sail through rough waters after the creators had to fire Frank Darabont, the former executive producer and developer of the show.

Glenn Mazzara comes from the fame of having executively produced and co-produced shows like Hawthorne, Crash, Life, The Shield and Standoff. The Walking Dead will be commencing with its second season on October 16, 2011.
